  1. Take a dip in Oak Creek
Winding its way through Sedona and beyond is the beautiful Oak Creek. There are myriad swimming holes, vortexes, and gorgeous views wherever you stop along the creek. With its crisp, clear water- Oak Creek is a glorious oasis after a hot hike in the Arizona summer sun or especially refreshing after a strenuous mountain bike adventure!

  1.  Pullover and take in the impeccable Arizona sunsets
There is something special about Arizona’s sunsets! The colors are more vibrant than you can imagine and the hues and tones change and evolve in seconds right before your eyes. Scope out a hike or lookout, or just pull your car to the side of the road and take in the most amazing sunsets you’ll ever lay eyes on!

  1. Climb a mountain with your favorite people!
No doubt, Sedona is home to some of the most beautiful hikes in the world. From easy, to moderate, to challenging, there is a hike here that will suit every adventurer- be it two-legged or four!

Pack some water and sunscreen and be sure to pause and take the time to soak up the absolutely epic landscape that Sedona has to offer.

  1. Get a snake lesson in Uptown!
Head over to Uptown Sedona and you may meet a snake or two! Aiming to teach grownups and youngsters alike everything there is to know about snakes and how to stay safe, a local group sets up a few tanks on the sidewalk of Uptown Sedona filled with a variety of Arizona native snakes! You can hold the non-venomous ones, and learn all the things you’ll ever need to know about the venomous species and how to stay safe in snake country. Plus, you’ll have a great picture to send your squeamish grandma!
