FEBRUARY 10 - Community Update Regarding COVID-19

Paul Amadio, Head of School
Dear VVS Students and Families,

We have received the results of the COVID testing, and I am very happy to report that we will move out of the Observation Period today. We will begin in-person classes for boarding students on Thursday the 11th. YAY!!!

John Kelley will communicate details to all boarding students later this morning.

While I know a few folks felt that we have been too conservative in our policy and protocols, I can stand by those decisions and know we did all we could to avoid a school-wide outbreak. As we have all learned, even one positive case impacts our entire community.

On Monday, February 15th, at 6:00 PM MST, we will host a Zoom Town Hall for Families. I will send a formal invitation and zoom link later this week. I look forward to seeing you all then, to answer any questions, and share our current plans for the rest of the semester.

With gratitude for your unwavering support of this amazing school and community. Brighter days are ahead for VVS.

Best,

Paul Amadio
Head of School
