Register for Testing

Applicants for ninth, tenth and eleventh grades must take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) .  you should have the scores forwarded directly to Verde Valley School.  To ensure that we receive your scores before our February 15 first round deadline, please take the test no later than the early February administration.  Rolling admission applicants should register for the test as soon as they can.   Prospective Day Students can take the test at Verde Valley School.  Contact Dana Blavat at 928-284-2272 for test dates.  Applicants for eleventh grade may submit SSAT, PSAT or SAT scores.

TOEFL:  Verde Valley School does not offer ESL classes in the eleventh and twelvth grade IB curriculum.  Admitted eleventh graders typically score 90 or above.  Register for the TOEFL here .The VVS test TOEFL code is 8818.

International students applying for the ninth or tenth grade must submit SLEP or TOEFL scores.
