ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE

The ESL program offers an intensive English second language curriculum with the primary goal of mainstreaming qualified students into the standard diploma track as soon as they are prepared to be successful. The ESL faculty assesses the language skills of all incoming students and places them into the appropriate level for instruction and optimum skill development. A second and equally important goal of the ESL program is to bring second-language students into our school in order to enrich and strengthen the cultural diversity of our school, as well as enrich their lives as they become integrated into the learning community. Students may move up to more advanced classes as their skills improve.
