Extra Help

Because our classes are small and our teachers, almost all of whom live on campus, know our students well, much individual help occurs during class time. In addition, students may seek assistance from any of their teachers during times established by each individual teacher. It is important to note that we assign students to classes based on their abilities rather than on what grade they are in, and that we give both achievement and effort grades, so that each student’s hard work is recognized and valued.

Peer Tutoring

Students who need more focused support outside the classroom can take advantage of our Peer Tutoring program. The program is organized by the School’s registrar who matches Peer Tutors with those students who need tutoring. This program is also an opportunity for outstanding students to take on the responsibility of teaching their peers.
