Graduation Requirements, 2008-2009
Students are required to take six courses each semester, one in each of the six groups. To graduate from Verde Valley School, students must have earned twenty-four academic credits. One credit represents a full-year course. The graduation requirements may be satisfied by a combination of full-year and semester courses. In addition to academic coursework, each student must complete a Project Period and a Field Trip each year and participate in Work Jobs, Sports, and Community Service.

IB Diploma candidates are required to complete the Theory of Knowledge course and to write an Extended Essay on a topic of their choice.
