Advisor Program

Making sure you meet all the requirements for graduation is just the starting place for advisors at Verde Valley School. Advisors help students make decisions about which courses are best for them, including the IB Program. They work closely with students to provide guidance and support. At Verde Valley School each new student is assigned an advisor. Returning students select their own advisors, usually before leaving school for the summer vacation. There is an open line of communication between students and their advisors to ensure their years at VVS are the very best. Students meet with their advisors each Wednesday morning to check in and work together to handle any issues that may arise. Advisors monitor the student's academic performance and participation in the life at VVS and provide regular progress reports to parents. Parents are encouraged to keep in close touch with advisors as well. Our doors are always open.
